Applications |
SiSiB® PC5862 has superior hydrophobicity, it can be used as a water-repellent or surface modifier. SiSiB® PC5862 can be used for mineral filler treatment. When treated minerals are incorporated into polymers, the long-chain alkyl functionality results in unique functional filler properties. SiSiB® PC5862 can be used as scorch retardant in moisture crosslinked wire and cable compounds, to improve processability and shelf life. Additive loading levels of 0.5 to 1.5 wt% based on the overall compound are typically recommended. SiSiB® PC5862 can be used for polyolefin production. |
